The ninth edition of Fatigue Design is scheduled to take place on 17 and 18 November 2021 in Senlis, France. The call for papers for this international congress is already open and concerns “innovative approaches and scientific breakthroughs in fatigue design and in the extension of the service lives of equipment and mechanical components, specifically for industrial applications”. Note that this new edition will focus on the contribution of Big Data and artificial intelligence in the fatigue sector.
The lectures (in English only) may focus on material testing as well as on theoretical studies carried out to design a structure. As in previous years, all selected topics will be made available online at ScienceDirect, via Elsevier Procedia Structural Integrity. Applicants must submit their abstracts by December 10, 2020. If their proposals are selected by the scientific committee of the congress, applicants will have until June 18, 2021 to submit their full presentations.
