Implementation of a structured and functional analysis approach in order to determine Faurecia’s needs and prepare the right material/process specifications. Creation of specimens made up of different substrates and various types of adhesives, followed by their characterisation via tensile and shear tests before and after ageing.

Faurecia is now aware of all the elements it needs to select, based on final product specifications, the adhesives and the application processes that meet the expected reliability and quality objectives.
