Milton Roy Europe is an expert in fluid dosing, mixing andcontrol. It manufactures pumps, agitators and dedicated sys-tems for chemical, oil, mining,agri-food or water treatment companies. Its aim is to provide equipment for continuous dosing and injection of clear, viscous, abrasive, corrosive orvolatile fluids, at any flow rate or pressure, and all this in environments that can even be corrosive. Therefore, it is easy to understand that the main concern of the company’s ma-nagers is to remain up to date with the latest knowledge regarding standards, materials and their treatments. “There aremany innovations in the fieldof materials, and the standards applicable to the various sectorsin which we operate are chan-ging extremely rapidly”, says Gaëtan Spude, the company’s R&D Manager. “We wanted acomprehensive training in ma-terials, but in the specific fields that our study coordinators are interested in. We also wanted up-to-date tables showing all equivalent standards applicable in the various markets in which we operate, among which Europe, America, China, etc.”
A wide and specific programme
In order to meet this require-ment, Cetim put its teams to work and several experts in materials, surface treatments, tribology, corrosion and stan-dards were dispatched, in turns, to Milton Roy Europe’s head-quarters in Pont-Saint-Pierre (Eure, France). “Together with Cetim’s materials experts, we built a wide and specific programme which was perfectly suited to our needs”, continues Gaëtan Spude. “We are extremely satisfied with this collaboration since, in addi-tion to the training, Cetim’s experts gave us extensive documentation with summary data sheets al-lowing us to compare the various standards, treatments, hardness levels, etc. Furthermore, we have established a close relationship with these experts, who are always willing to help when we have a specific need”.
