Cetim’s new electrodynamic vibrator entered service in early September, and the least we can say is that it is an XXL model!
As a matter of fact, it can withstand weights of 5 metric tonnes (in its extended version with two horizontal tables and one guided vertical table) and accommodate workpieces of 4 x 2.5 m in size! Moreover, this item of equipment also features improved acceleration, force, speed and displacement capabilities.
Its installation in Senlis (Oise, France) required almost one year of work and specific arrangements, among which a seismic block to absorb the generated vibrations, handling equipment suited to heavy loads and highly efficient soundproofing of the premises.
