EUROPEAN HYDROGEN WEEK 2024 – Meet the Cetim experts

02/08/2024

Building on the success of the 2023 edition, Hydrogen Europe, the European Commission, and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership have once again teamed up this year to bring together the entire hydrogen sector in one place.

From November 18 to 22, 2024, the European Hydrogen Week will open its doors at Brussels Expo for a full week of conferences, exhibitions, and fantastic networking opportunities. Meet the Cetim experts at the HER (Hydrogen Europe Research) pavilion in Hall 7 and discover the latest advancements of HyMEET, Cetim’s major strategic project aimed at helping industries adapt their products and equipment to hydrogen constraints.

Services and Solutions Across the Entire Hydrogen Value Chain

Our on-site experts will present the services and solutions offered through HyMEET, designed to equip you with the necessary tools and skills to master the technology related to the use of hydrogen in its gaseous and liquid forms. Our partnerships, notably with CEA, enable us to address the challenges across the entire value chain of the sector: production, storage, transport, distribution, and end-use applications.

European Projects for Major Advances in R&D

Take advantage of the presence of Cetim experts involved in major European projects on H2 to learn about the latest R&D advances in the field, including the mid-term results of the European project H2RefDemo.

About HyMEET

HyMEET (Hydrogen Materials and Equipments Engineering and Testing) illustrates Cetim’s commitment to addressing the challenges associated with the ecological transition and is directly linked to the France 2030 plan. This strategic project aims to support mechanical professions, their clients, and the entire sector in overcoming technological and economic challenges related to hydrogen, seizing the opportunities offered by this market. The HyMEET project covers the entire value chain of the sector: production, storage, transport, distribution, and end-use applications. It includes an ambitious R&D program with a €25 million investment in dedicated testing facilities, characterization and validation platforms, consulting, and training programs. The project already involves over 100 collaborators and leverages Cetim’s 60 years of experience and multidisciplinary expertise, particularly in areas such as sealing, material embrittlement and permeability, component fatigue, cleanliness, manufacturing processes, and forming and assembly.
